Struggling with Unresponsive Consultancy for MB Act 2017 Leave: What Should I Do Next?

Hi all,

I applied for paid leave under the MB Act 2017. My company in Chennai directed me to contact a consultancy in Mumbai. The consultancy advised me to send an email. I have been sending emails daily for the past week, but they have not replied yet. Three months' leave has already passed. What should I do now?

As rightly said by Mr. Paresh, you need to give a brief about your query. Since you are already on leave and inquiring about maternity benefits, may I ask which leave you are currently on? Additionally, how long have you been working with the organization, and are you covered under ESIC?

I joined on May 01, 2017, for a one-year contract basis (Extendable). I took maternity leave from September 01, 2017. I worked totally for 120 days (4 months). My salary was $20,000 (Excluding PF and professional tax). No other taxes and ESI.
