Regarding Leave policy in health care

Hi,
am working as HR in hospital , Hyderabad .Here management is not ready to give earn leaves, sick leaves and also no sufficient public holidays. is it mandatory to give earned leave and sick leaves. Can anyone help me through providing leave policy according to statute.

Please go through Shop & Establishment Act of your respective State.

Hospitals comes under Shops & establishments act and as per this employees are eligible for 15 days earned leave / 12 casual & 12 Sick leaves & Maternity leaves ( employees who are out of ESI coverage). In this context communicate to the Management about the implications on violation of the applicable laws.
You are also requested first to go through the Shops and establishments act, Understand and discuss.
