Understanding PF Withdrawals: Will I Get My Full Employer, Employee, and Pension Contributions?

jegan.ramachandran
Dear All,

I have generated my PF account passbook, in which there are Employer Contributions, Employee Contributions, and the amount contributed to the Pension Scheme. I have been working at the company for the past 9 years and 5 months.

When I am relieved, will I receive the total amount of Employer Contribution, Employee Contribution, and the amount under the Pension Scheme? My passbook indicates that my amount consists only of the Employer Contribution and Employee Contribution.

Please clarify.

Thanks,
RJ

Dear Rj,

The pension amount will not be shown because it relates to the number of service years and the last five years' salary contributed under the PF act. Your details will automatically transfer upon providing the UAN number to the new employer or upon receiving a certificate after completing 10 years. You can check your statement on the UMANG mobile app or through the EPFO portal (Pension contribution shows).

Dear Jegan Ramachandra,

Please upload your EPF Pass Book when you will resign and be relieved from service. What is your total membership duration in EPF and EPS?

Thank you.
