Aspiring Soft Skills Trainer: How Do I Design Modules and Find Opportunities?

Savvio
Dear All,

I am seeking to be a soft skills trainer and I need some guidance and help from trainers. After obtaining a TTT certification, how do I go about designing modules for soft skills training, and where can I source materials for the workshops? Do I need to market myself as a freelancer, or are there institutes that recruit trainers? Can anyone recommend a good TTT course in Pune or Mumbai?

Thanks & Regards,
Savio Anthony

Dear Savio, while your query is on becoming a professional trainer, my feedback to you is on a different note. Have you done a spell and grammar check of your post? Your post is laden with numerous grammatical mistakes. This certainly is not a professional approach. A trainer is expected to be head and shoulders above, at least in the quality of his/her English. Therefore, it is high time for you to set your fundamentals right; otherwise, there could be a situation where your participants start correcting your mistakes, and this, in turn, could mar the purpose of the training itself.

Participants of all kinds sit in front of trainers. They could range from run-of-the-mill types to methodical and impeccable in their approach. Training the latter category is no easy task. Therefore, have a judicious evaluation of yourself first before entering this profession. As a middle ground, you may undergo Train the Trainer (TTT), but rather than becoming a freelance trainer, you may consider working under a senior HR/Training Manager. By doing so, you will receive feedback from them, which will help you in grooming yourself.

Thanks,
Dinesh Divekar
