How Will Reduced Minimum Wages in Uttar Pradesh Affect Workers from Bihar and West Bengal?

Mr. Yogi Ji has come to the rescue of industries situated in Uttar Pradesh. It has been noticed that most of the workers are from Bihar and West Bengal, so it was decided to reduce the wages from the last revised minimum wages (April 2017).

I hope the workers can survive in a comfortable way because the U.P. Labour Minister thinks that inflation has now reduced, so the decision was made to reduce the wages. This is the first time in history.

Yes, this is true as the labor ministry has made a decision; however, no notification has been issued by them.

Yes, the Price Index has gone down. West Bengal State MW has also been reduced by the state Government. However, Maharashtra and the central government have not reduced it and have kept the MW the same as notified earlier. Both have not reduced the minimum wages. This reflects very poor calculation by the government. We need to raise our voice for workers.
