Intricacies on Earned Leave as per S and E Tamilnadu in 2017

Dear friends
We are a private sector org, registered under Sand E act Tamilnadu. I would like to know whether intervening holidays or weekly off ( Sunday) between paid leaves ( earned leave) will be counted as a part of earned leave or not? Eg. if a person goes on PL from Aug 12 -17, will Aug 13(Sunday) and Aug 15( holiday) be counted and EL availed = 6 days? Also, the minimum number of days to be availed, to be considered as EL?

On another note... what if a lady serves notice while on her 26 week ML? what can the employer do? Does he simply pay the ML pay and relieves her?
