What Changes Could the Code on Wages Bill 2017 Bring to Wage Laws?

Please find attached the Code on Wages Bill 2017 as introduced in Lok Sabha on 10.8.2017. It aims to amalgamate, simplify, and rationalize the relevant provisions of the following four central Acts relating to wages:

a) Payment of Wages Act 1936
b) Minimum Wages Act 1948
c) Payment of Bonus Act 1965
d) Equal Remuneration Act 1976
