Navigating PF and Pension Claims After an Employee's Passing: Need Help with Forms 10D and 20

Dear All, I need a favor from senior members. One of my employees suffered from cancer and, therefore, resigned from his job a year ago for treatment. I recently learned from his parents that he passed away two months ago, and they have approached me for his PF and Pension.

Through Cite HR, I have collected details of the documents to be submitted but do not have any idea of how to fill out Form 10D and Form 20. It would be really helpful if any of you could send a filled sample copy of the above-mentioned forms.

Without wasting time, go to your PF Office with a notebook. They will give you appropriate directions for the speedy settlement of the claim. You can also ask for forms printed in Tamil.

Form 20 and 10D consist of too much lengthy information of the deceased member and legal heirs. You have to fill in what you collected, such as names of the spouse, date of birth, bank details, last 12 months' contributions, breaks in service, joining and leaving of the member, etc. I will definitely provide a sample file shortly.
