How Do the 2017 Apprenticeship Rule Changes Affect Training Opportunities?

Please find attached the following amendments:

1. The Apprenticeship (Amendment) Rules 2017 were notified on 20.1.2017, which provides for online registration of apprenticeship contracts.

2. The Apprenticeship (Third Amendment) Rules 2017 were notified on 5.4.2017, which lowers the minimum educational qualification to undergo apprenticeship training as an optional trade from eighth class pass to fifth class pass.

I am looking for an industry that can engage in an industry internship partnership with the Ministry of Rural Skills. They would be seeking direct engagement with industry partners who can upskill rural youth and provide long-term career opportunities. Can anyone advise on such corporates/MNCs/companies?

What type of registration procedure is required for providing trainee services in 2018? Is there a stipend or payment amount limit fixed for such trainees?
