ESIC's Proposed Change: How Will the New Contribution Deadline Affect You?

Dear All,

ESIC may propose to change the due date for the monthly remittance of contributions to the 15th of each month, instead of the 21st day of each month. I am enclosing a draft notification regarding this change.

Sir, the draft amendment notification appears to be from the year 2016 (without a date). Can you please confirm whether the final notification of such an amendment in the Regulations has been issued by ESIC or not. If possible, can we have a copy of the said final notification.

Now, the final notification relating to ESI remittance date is the 15th day of every month, and it is released for publication. Please find the same.

Please find the attached ESIC notifications. The ESIC remittance date has been amended from 21St to 15th of every month w.e.f 1st June,17 i.e all the employer have to pay the ESIC contribution by 15th of this month for the wage period June,17.
 
Requesting you all to pay the same by 15th July,17.
NB-
Also advise your respective contractor to comply accordingly.
