Please find attached the Payment of Wages (Amendment) Ordinance 2016, which was notified on 28.12.2016, providing for payment of wages through banking channels.

It will be applicable w.e.f.?

Please clarify whether this means we have to pay wages via bank/cheque only, or if we can also pay by bank or check in addition to the current currency coin.
