I applied for a leave of 10 working days(12 including sundays) days for my brothers wedding.
My superior allowed only for a week ie 6 days, but i had to leave for the required days since i belong to different town.
i requested for the extension on mail but he again declined.
Left with no choice i had to leave and i put a mail explaining my failure to decrease the leave duration.
He asked the corporate HR to send me a mail and letter at my home for absenting from duty without information/Approval.
I replied the corporate HR on mail all the discussions.
I had ample annual leaves balance.
I even offered to give away the pay for the extra leaves 4 days I was asking.
Need suggestions that despite informing and mailing, making all efforts/reasons can somebody work on a personal vendetta.
Is this legal sending the letter and what should be future course of action from my view point..
