Leave Dilemma: How to Mark Weekly Offs When Leave Surrounds It?

Hi,

If an employee takes leave (granted by the employer) before and after the weekly off, what should we mark on his rest day - "weekly off" or "leave"?

For example: If an employee takes leave on Saturday and Monday, with Sunday being his/her weekly off day.

Query related to establishments under the Rajasthan Shops and Establishment Act.

Is there any special provision under the Labour Law (Rajasthan Shops and Establishment Act) regarding the above-mentioned scenario?

If you do not have a leave policy, then a weekly off has to be treated as a weekly off only and not as leave.
