Private School Let Me Go Without a Joining Letter or Explanation – What Should I Do?

Sir, I was working in a private school, but they did not issue me a joining letter. After 3 months, they asked me to leave. They didn't give me any letters or provide any reasons. Please advise.
Labour Law Index
Simply contact your area labor inspector and lodge a case under the Madhya Pradesh Shops and Establishment Act. They cannot make you leave without reasonable reasons. Also, check if your PF and ESI contributions are made correctly. If not, contact the PF or ESI enforcement officer.

You have not mentioned the terms and conditions of your appointment or your position/designation. If your appointment was for a leave vacancy or contractual, it is evident that such vacancies are usually short-term or short-lived. Some organizations have a practice of hiring casual employees for 89 days. The purpose behind such employment is to prevent them from having continuity of service by providing a break of 2-3 days.

Since this matter pertains to the school, you can contact the Education Officer of the area from which these schools receive grants.

Even though I was working in a CBSE school, they neither provided me with any joining letter nor paid me for the extra teaching hours after school. They also took my original certificates. When I informed them about my resignation, their response was to first find a replacement teacher. However, I need my original documents for a new job.

Please guide me on how to proceed in this situation.
