How Do You Handle a Team Member Who Ignores Instructions and Causes Daily Conflicts?

Help is needed! I have a subordinate on my team who never listens and acts based on given instructions. This is causing fights on a daily basis. Moreover, she has a huge gap in reporting incidents and listening. Please advise.

Addressing Interpersonal Skill Deficiencies

Problems of this kind arise because of a lack of interpersonal skills, listening skills, etc. Partially, it is a recruitment problem as well. Why did the interviewer fail to identify these weaknesses in the candidate? The manager of the said employee may privately call and give her feedback. She should be informed that it is not just technical skills but also supporting behavioral skills that are important to improve one's career. If she does not get along with others, she could jeopardize her career.
