Need Help Crafting a Business Model for Our New IT Startup Division – Any Ideas?

ramyagarigala
Dear Members,

I am working as an HR Executive for an Animation company. Our management is planning to start a new division in the IT industry. They have asked me to create a business model for the startup, which includes budgeting, the break-even point, revenue generation, marketing, advertising, HR aspects, customer approach methods, and more. Can anyone please help with some examples or ideas?

Thanks in advance!

While starting a new business, what a business person is required to do is a "Business Plan" and not a "Business Model." You could have searched this forum before raising the query. Anyway, click the following links to read my replies to past posts:

- Strategic Marketing Plan

The posts may not be related to your business; however, they will help you in designing market research. Secondly, for any business, whether in IT or otherwise, market research is key. Have you done that? If yes, then on what parameters? Any business plan without proper market research is useless.

Thanks,

Thanks, Dinesh, for your suggestions. I haven't done any market research actually; it's completely different from my knowledge. That's why I am taking suggestions from different sources to initiate the market research.

There is a plethora of information about business planning on Google.

Also, check your local college/university library for books to research all the topics you have outlined in your post.
