Hi revered seniors, I was suddenly and unexpectedly fired from my job, which I had worked at for 5 years, for no reason and was asked to leave the same day. They paid me for my notice period of two months in lieu. However, I find it difficult to believe that senior managers in India can be fired from jobs despite great on-the-job performance and commitment. Is this legal? I was promoted thrice in 5 years due to my good performance. In the end, it was all about not being subservient to the new, unworthy supervisor. Is it still legal?
