Prevention of Sexual Harassment Policy
Please refer to it as the "Prevention of Sexual Harassment Policy," not simply the sexual harassment policy. It does not need to be registered anywhere. However, you are required by law to publicize it within the company to ensure that all employees, both male and female, are aware of the policy, the procedure for complaints, the procedure for handling complaints, and the penalties for misconduct.
If you have an employee manual or handbook, include the policy in that document. If you have a portal or intranet, post it there. If necessary, send it via email to all employees of the company.
Also, remember that the law mandates sensitizing training for all employees of the company and regular sessions to ensure that individuals understand what behavior is unacceptable and the consequences of such actions.
The Internal Complaint Committee must convene at the workplace (the factory or office for which the committee is designated). Additionally, there must be a transparent mechanism for receiving complaints, both orally and in writing, even when the committee has not convened.
