How Do You Design a Salary Structure for a 300,000 CTC? Seeking Advice!

Hello All,

One of our employees has a CTC of 300,000/- per annum. Please advise on how to design the salary structure based on this CTC.

CTC includes all costs. If you want to cover the employee under PF, then 12% of the basic salary is to be considered as a cost. Normally, about 40% of the CTC is considered as the basic salary. The rest of the costs have to be attributed to allowances; one of them should be HRA if you are from Maharashtra or WB.
