Building a team is fine; however, there has to be a logical conclusion to the team-building efforts. We must be able to measure the business impact due to the improved team efforts. Was there process improvement? Was there a reduction in costs? Was there a decrease in manpower or equipment utilization because of the improved teamwork, etc.? We have to measure that.
