Is it mandatory to register with Shops and Establishment Act for an IT company who is registered with Companies Act

Yes; registration under the Companies Act,1956 is relating to the company's creation, constitution, continuation and winding-up.In order to run it as a shop or commercial establishment, you have to take up a separate registration under the Shops & Est. Act.

As per requirement of section 13 of The Punjab Shops & Commercial Establishments Act, 1958 as applicable to state of Haryana you are to apply for registration within 30 days of the commencement of business by online system utilizing the Haryana Labour Department website.
