Passport Applicant Is A 'consumer' Under Consumer Protection Act - NCDRC

National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission in its order dated 16.3.2016 (copy attached) has held that applicant for passport is a 'consumer' under Consumer Protection Act and he can file claim in case of deficiency in service by Passport Officer.
