Usually, when we are unable to complete our work on time, it is because of one of the following reasons:
• The assignment turns out to be more complex than we initially thought.
• The assignment requires us to learn a new skill, and we didn’t anticipate this.
• The assignment needs us to do additional research, and we did not anticipate this.
• The assignment turns out to be more time-consuming than we initially thought.
• The assignment needs more resources than we initially thought.
• The assignment runs into technical difficulties that we did not anticipate.
• Unforeseen personal problems.
• Unforeseen emergencies.
