Missed ESIC Payment Deadline: Do I Owe a Penalty or Interest Now?

I could not pay the ESIC Challan within the stipulated time period. Can you please help me with whether I have to pay a penalty or interest for that? If yes, then how much do I need to pay? For instance, if I missed paying the challan for May 15, would I need to pay a penalty or interest if I pay it now?

Dear, you can pay your challan without interest and penalty. It will be paid by you when the ESI department sends you a notice after calculating the same.
