Gathering Feedback from 300 Contract Associates: How to Create Effective Questionnaires?

Apurva_24
Hi All,

In our company, we had 300 associates working with us on a contract for 6 months. I'm planning to gather feedback regarding their experiences, work culture, learning, etc. Could anyone assist me in creating these questionnaires?

Thank you.

Regards,
Apurva Kulkarni.

Feedback Initiative for Contract Associates

It's good to note that you would like to take feedback from the associates who were on contract with you. Feedback is a powerful tool for process improvement, helping us remove biases or perceptions. Whoever has taken this initiative, whether you or someone else, kudos to him/her.

You could have provided a little more information about the associates. Why were they hired? What was the objective? What were their educational qualifications, and which departments did they work in? Were their jobs rotated? Did you conduct any mid-term tests? What was the projected ROI from this recruitment, and so on? Additional information could include the nature of your industry, your designation, etc.

Anyway, you can send me a detailed email if you wish to avail of my [paid] services.

Thanks,

I would have helped you in a better manner if I had gathered more output from your posting. As of now, I can say:

1. Assure them that their inputs will be confidential and it will cause no harm to them, even if they give bad/negative feedback.
2. You can gather this form anonymously. Also, tell them why you are not asking for their name—just because they can express themselves in the best way.

Make sure your form is not too lengthy. More questions should be multiple choice instead of asking for comments. Whatever comes to your mind, you can include in the questionnaire for their selection to exit.

Hope this may be helpful for you.

Mr. Prachandra has provided you with a very robust tool (format) as per your requirements. I hope you will be more than satisfied with it. You have not described the staff working on a contract basis directly under your management or with some subcontractors (Third Party).

Additional Considerations

I would like to add "Safety," "Staff Welfare," Trainings (Technical, Communication, Ethical, Social Security), and Statutory Compliance points in the form. I also suggest implementing the form while considering the complications on Practical Ground. You can categorize the format based on Working Designation/Professional-Technical Qualifications of the staff. Since not all points will be related to every personnel, there could be some Common Points and some extra points as needed.

I agree with Ms. Gunjan; the format is quite descriptive, it could be more concise. You can also consider implementing a rating system for some points. I would like to emphasize more on "Safety," Trainings, and Statutory Compliance (especially when the staff is hired through Third Parties).

Kind regards

Hi all,

Thank you so much for the inputs. They were on a contract basis as Tax Advisors (BFSI). Most of them were from a CA background, and a few were MBA interns. I would like to request feedback considering their experience in terms of:

- Learning
- Training
- Work culture
- Retention

Thank you.
