Voluntary PF Coverage

Dear Friends,
Please let us know about this - If we are taking voluntary coverage under PF for a firm then number of employees working in the firm is not crucial (crucial in the sense that even if number of employees are less than 20, voluntary coverage can be taken. . .)
Please give your inputs on this.

The PF says that it is compulsary that after 20 employees, you will have to avail the PF coverage. But it is welcome move, if you want to register for the PF even before that no is reached upon.
Just note that if you start the PF deductions, then later on even if your no. of employees do not cross 20 nos., you will have to continue the PF deduction and contirbutation.
