You can start distributing greeting cards on birthdays of employees and arranging cultural programmes on festivals for the families of employees. You may also implement a picnic policy with the intention of dining outside the office premises. There are agencies that conduct leisure activities for employees.
Employee engagement is more about good organizational policies, having the best Performance Management System (PMS) in place, career mapping for employees, employee training, social security, and implementing a robust reward and recognition system. It leans towards theory X and Y.
