Dear Friends, I work with a reputed company in New Delhi as their Business Development Manager/Business Strategist. With prior discussion with my Director, I had resigned a month back, and my notice period ends in another 3 days. Unfortunately, my company hasn't been able to hire someone for the same position yet. I am confused about how and to whom I should hand over all the confidential business-related data, which includes crucial project information and other financial matters. Please suggest!
Concerns About Notice Period Extension
Does this situation give the company an upper hand to extend my notice period (which I cannot extend as I am traveling for leisure)? Eventually, whose fault is it? Can I be held accountable for anything at a later stage? Will this give the company a way to blackmail me and revoke my last month's salary or experience letter?
