How to Address Employees Filing Half-Day Leave for Full-Day Work?

Good Day All,

How can I write a memo to my employees not to file half-day leave because the regular working day is a whole day, but sometimes we only take half a day due to fewer orders in manufacturing/production staff, and we let them leave whenever they are done? Some staff consider it a half day even without their presence, and the next day they file it as a half-day emergency/sick leave, which is supposed to be a whole day.

Secondly, instead of issuing a memo, you need to amend your policy and circulate it to all staff members. Finally, if you believe that issuing a memo will serve the purpose, you may upload the draft, and some senior staff may offer help to correct it.
