Dear Gowtham, To build a career, qualification is necessary, but then you should check whether you are using what you already have. Mere accumulation of degrees will not propel you to a higher position.
Evaluate Your Current Qualifications
The existing qualifications, i.e., BE (Mech) and MBA (HR & Marketing), are more than sufficient. Yet, you are working as an IT recruiter. Why? Is this not belittling yourself? Stop this belittlement first. Learn to live up to your qualifications. Give value to yourself. If you do not value yourself, why would others value you? If you were unable to get a job in HR, then why did you not take a chance in Marketing? What was the hold-up? If not Marketing, then you could have taken up any job that utilizes your analytical skills.
Consider Financial and Career Decisions
Possibly there were pressing financial needs, and you were not getting a job of your stature; hence, this compromise. But instead of compromising, you should have revisited the basics of Engineering and attended the interviews or recruitment tests with complete confidence. You may do that even now as well.
I regret that I did not mince my words while giving you career advice, but it was necessary.
All the best!
