If an organization is going to have structural changes in its business. How we as HR should help the employees accept & adapt to the changes?

You have not given sufficient information about the change. What is the nature of your industry? Have you been taken over by some another big company? Is there any change in the top management? If yes, then why?

Employees dread most at the manpower restructuring. This is a fabulous phrase used for downsizing. It creates the fear psychosis amongst the employees. Try to find out what can you do to reduce this.

The next important thing as HR you can do is to improve organisational communication. Let there be no place for rumours. Otherwise grapevine will create havoc on the morale of the staff members.

Change management is so comprehensive process and unless the terms of change are not understood, nothing much can be said as such.

Thank you for your revert..
My organization's nature is logistics. Nope are not been taken over by any other company.
I work in Learning and Development. Since for achieving our goal we are making changes in business in which we operate. The current structure is quite complicated. So we have been suggested that we need to change this complicated structure of operating business.
So we as L&D are going to take an initiative to make HR understand how we can implement this changes with the employees not making it much difficult as they face these changes.

If you wish to reduce the complications in the business structure, then first you need to measure the various costs associated with your business. The structure is best that optimises all the costs. However, to do this, your company needs to know how to measure the above costs scientifically. This is much easier said than done. Your first training programme should be on measurement of these costs. For this, you need to hire services of some consultant.

We have already hired consultants. They have suggested to make some changes and that's already in process.
We just want to have a knowledge sharing session on how we can make HR at location help their employee to undergo change effectively.
