Dear Assefa Amenu,
Please note the following:
a) Training is conducted to bring about organizational change. Therefore, your focus should be on the organization and not on individuals.
b) Employee training is only a means to an end, not an end in itself. The end result should be the reduction of costs that the organization incurs during its operations.
c) The measurement of training effectiveness is the cost before and after the training.
d) Any training that does not reduce costs is ineffective.
e) A trainer's role is not just about delivery or presentation skills but also about studying and understanding the systems and processes to identify where revenue leakage is occurring. Your training efforts should be aimed at plugging those leaks.
