Dear Amit,
Workmen Compensation (Employee Compensation) insurance provide coverage only for compensation in case loss of limb, death etc. If your company purchased ECP with the condition of general treatment than you are eligible to claim.

Dear Amit,
The quantum of claim expense & degree of injury is of importance here.
Workmen Compensation is a legal liability policy. It covers all liabilities falling upon the employer under the WC Act (now known as Employers Compesnation Act) and the Fatal Accidents Act.
Death & Disability are also covered under workmen compensation but if the employee demands compensation for his treatment from you (employer) stating that he suffered the injury during work hours and it was work related , then the same will be covered under WC Insurance.
You need to inform your WC insurance company immediately and consult with them regarding the procedure for claiming under the policy.
