Frustrated with PF Number Delays: Is a Five-Month Wait Normal?

I would like to know how long it takes to get a PF number. The company has started deducting my PF amount since last October, and I have not received my PF number. Whenever I ask the accountant, she says it takes time. Does it really take this much time? It's been five months now. Please update.

The PF number is usually generated on the same day. Ask the company to share their PF registration and their PF code, and then check on the PF website. You can use the last 3 or 4 digits of your employee ID to view your PF registration. Otherwise, use UAN.

Provident fund numbers are generated by the company itself. If they have not allocated your PF number, how are they depositing your contributions?

PF Number is generated by the company on the same day. If your company accountant does not assist you, please contact your company manager or director.
