I would like to know how long it takes to get a PF number. The company has started deducting my PF amount since last October, and I have not received my PF number. Whenever I ask the accountant, she says it takes time. Does it really take this much time? It's been five months now. Please update.

Knowledge-HR: PF Number Generation
The PF number is usually generated on the same day. Ask the company to share their PF registration and their PF code, and then check on the PF website. You can use the last 3 or 4 digits of your employee ID to view your PF registration. Otherwise, use UAN.

Dear Provident fund number is being generated by company it self.if they have not alloted your PF number than how they are depositing your contribution.
