Hi all, I would like to know if it is possible to terminate an employee immediately based on non-performance.

First of all, please provide full details. What is the tenure of the employee? Were they well informed about their non-performance? Have you sent a caution letter? Have you talked with the employee to find out the reason for the non-performance? The forum is also keen to know whether the thread was raised by a representative of the employer or the employee themselves.

The forum will not be able to advise merely on a one-line sentence regarding whether the employee can be terminated based on non-performance.
