Calculation Of 240 Days Under Shop & Establishment Act

Dear sir/mem,
Please clear my doubt on Shop & establishment Act. On calculation of 240 days for calculation of Previlage leave,,which days are included and excluded. Hurry Pls

Dear Member,
As this is a state Act one have to go through applicable State Shops & Establishments Act & rules for calculation of earned leaves.

AS khola said, you need to refer to the state act.
However, in general, all holidays and approved leaves will be counted as working.
The only exclusion will be leave without pay

240 days included the actual working days without any holiday, weekly off & leaves

I second Mr. Banerjee, the only exclusion is Leave without Pay, in nutshell all days are included for which the Salary is paid.
