Confused About Creating a Production MIS Report? Need Guidance on What to Include

I am in the bus bodybuilding industry, and recently, management has asked me to submit a production report in MIS. Please guide me on how to prepare it, as I don't know anything about MIS reports. From what I have researched, I found that MIS reports are mostly financial-based, so I am confused about how to prepare one and what should be included in the report.

I recommend you talk to your production manager. Possibly, he could be sending a production report every day. Find out from management what different reports they want from the production report.

MIS on Production

MIS on production typically includes daily, weekly, and monthly production output, consumption of fuel/lubricants, rejection percentage, uptime/downtime breakdown of machines used, idle man-hours, Work In Process (WIP) inventory per day, etc.
