How Can I Legally Pursue Unpaid Wages After My Company Shut Down Without Notice?

I, Ankita, worked with an AdWords selling company as a Business Development Manager for 8 months. There were more than 700 employees working with this company at different locations. On December 11, 2014, our company owner shut down the company without prior information and without paying our salaries of 45 days. The owner is planning to open another company. He has financial power. If we go to the labor court, I believe he has a plan to declare himself bankrupt so that he can avoid paying our salaries and potentially be arrested by the police. I want to file a case against this company and need to know the complete procedure for doing so. The owner of the company was well aware that closing this company would result in many labor court cases, and he knows how to handle them.

If anyone can provide guidance, please advise me on what steps to take to win this case. I would be thankful for your help.

I recommend that you approach the labor officer of your area. Instead of going alone, you may give a collective representation. Find out what the labor officer says. As of now, let us not jump the gun on whether he is bankrupt or not.
