Starting as HR Manager in Real Estate: How Can I Boost Employee Motivation and Relations?

I have been offered the HR Manager post in the above-mentioned industry. I am currently working in a Pvt Ltd company, and this company deals in Real Estate, Share Broking, and Tours & Travel Business. The total strength of the employees is 80+. My job responsibilities include the recruitment of internal employees/external trainers, issuing appointment letters, conducting induction programs, forming policies, calculating salaries, and managing employee relations. The MD of the company has given me the challenging role of maintaining employee relations, creating policies, and developing ideas for incentives for employees that can motivate them to achieve the target revenue contribution and more.

Hence, I request you to provide me with proper guidance for the same. An earliest response would be a great help as my joining is tomorrow.

Of the list of responsibilities that you have mentioned, maintaining employee relations and motivation is important. Other responsibilities are generic in nature, and this is what an average HR Manager does.

Employee Relations and Motivation

Employee relations and motivation depend on the organization's culture. The culture should be performance-centric. Therefore, your priority should be how to create this culture. Salary incentives should be based on performance. However, molding the organization's culture is no easy task. It requires a lot of support from top management. Do you have buy-in from the management? Giving responsibility to someone is easy, but they should also listen to suggestions from that person.

However, Sir, I need to know the deductions and policies for the following things in the payroll and Excel sheet calculations: Basics, HRA, Conveyance - 1000 (fixed), PF, PT, and company contribution in PF account. What will be the components' amount if the Annual CTC is 155088?

Please help me to find out the proper way of calculations and also the way it has to be presented in an Excel sheet.
