Generally, letters regarding targets are issued to very senior management personnel. For others, signatures are obtained on the KRA Sheet. This sheet should specify the employee number, name, designation, performance cycle, KRAs, weights, etc., and then the signature should be taken.
Formal Policy on Performance Appraisal
Do you have a formal policy on performance appraisal? The format of the KRA sheet is a part of this policy. If you do not have this policy, then it is worthwhile to establish this policy first.
