As far as I know, there are no Model Standing Orders specified by state. In lieu of this, the Government of India, Ministry of Labour & Employment, framed the Model Standing Orders. The Model Standing Orders are specified in the Industrial Labour Laws by Mr. P.L. Mallik. You can also refer to the Industrial Disputes Act in the same book. These model standing orders are applicable throughout India where the company or establishment does not have its own Certified Standing Orders. In the absence of certified standing orders of the company, employers are free to refer to the Model Standing Orders for the purpose of initiating disciplinary action against their employees. As such, there have been no amendments to the model standing orders.
