Seeking Fun and Skill-Boosting Employee Engagement Activities for Our IT Team

Hi All, Please advise on some good employee engagement activities that can help employees improve and sharpen their skills, such as group discussions and case studies. Kindly assist me with some interesting activities that we can plan for our employees. I work in an IT company with around 100 employees.

The managers treat them fairly well, but there is still a bit of negativity as in the past some employees were asked to leave. I just wish to do different activities so that something or the other goes on, and the employees stay energetic. In turn, this also helps them in sharpening their skills.

Dear Neha, You appear to have certain misgivings about the concept of Employee Engagement. From where did you borrow the concept that employee engagement activities sharpen the skills of the employees? Yes, employee training is one part of employee engagement, but there are several other activities as well. Above all, you would like to include case studies and group discussions as well. Both are means of employee training and not engagement per se.

What is your budgetary allocation per employee? Engagement activities depend on that.
