Employee Verification Process
Prior to joining a company, the employee verification process is undertaken. This process includes checking if the individual is involved in any criminal cases and verifying documents such as SSC, degree, experience certificates, etc., from the relevant authorities.
Nowadays, this process is often outsourced to a third party due to its complexity. The third party is compensated according to the terms of the contract. Based on the information provided by the third party, the employer assesses the candidate for appointment.
In smaller companies with fewer recruits, the HR department typically handles this process internally. However, in larger corporations like Infosys or Wipro, a third-party agency manages the verification process. I hope this clarifies things.
