Navigating Performance Linked Incentive Eligibility After Resignation: Legal Recourse and Policy Con

chowdhury 123
Dear Seniors,

I have worked for 3 years in a reputed firm and have submitted my resignation in the month of June. The Performance Linked Incentive (PLI) for the financial year 2012-2013 was not released at that time. However, it has now been released, and I have been informed, citing a policy letter, that I am not eligible for the PLI as I am no longer an employee of the company.

My question is regarding the PLI for the financial year 2013-2014. I would have become eligible after April 1st. If the company declares it late, where does the fault lie?

Should I consider fighting a legal battle? Please suggest.

PLI stands for Performance Linked Incentive. You do not have legal recourse as it is the decision of the company to determine your performance. Many companies do not consider PLI for resigned employees.
