Confused About ROC Name Rejection: Should I Change It or Pay Royalty?

geniushkg22
Dear members, My CA says that the ROC has rejected the proposal for the name, and I should either change the name or pay some royalty to another company having the same name. However, when I search on the MCA website for the company name, it says no data is available. This means that the name I want to keep for the company is not already chosen by someone else. My wish is to keep the name "infiniteshivtechnologies pvt ltd" on the MCA website. No one has chosen the same or any identical name. What should I do? I don't know whether the CA is cheating or if something else is happening.

When you apply for a name for your proposed company, you provide three names in order of preference. If the first one is already allocated to someone else, priority is given to the second name and then to the third choice.

Upon seeing your first preference, it appears to be a unique name. What happened to your other two preferences?

Kind regards,
Regards

Dear Geniushkg22,

When you apply for a name for your proposed company, you provide three names in your preferences. If the first one is already allotted to someone, preference is given to the second one in order and then to the third one. By seeing your first preference, it is not a common name. What happened to your other two preferences?

Thanks for the quick response. Actually, we have given only one name and not the other two preferences. Is there any other scope for ROC to reject our INFINITE SHIV TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD name proposal, or should we try again with:

1st preference: INFINITE SHIV TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD
2nd preference: INFINITE SHIV SOLUTIONS PVT LTD
3rd preference: INFINITE SHIV CONSULTANCY PVT LTD

Is there any other way possible to stick to INFINITE SHIV TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD?

Regards
Avika
First, check with the CA and the ROC for the reason behind the rejection of the name, and take further action accordingly.
