As far as retail operations are concerned, there are two types of trainings. One is for the retail executives. It is on routine subjects likes customer service, communication skills etc.
The second training is on managing retail operations which includes inventory management, warehouse management, usage of Linear Programming (LP) techniques to optimise the stock etc.
The second one is non-conventional. It is yet to pick up roots in India. Secondly, it involves lot of maths, therefore, it requires Very Good+ IQ as well. First one is generic. Average IQ is sufficient to grasp that training.
