Torn Between HR and Healthcare: How Do I Choose the Right Career Path?

VINEETHA VM
I am Vineetha, working in the healthcare industry for the past 4 years. I am very much interested in HR. I did an MBA in HR and am currently pursuing an Advanced Diploma in HR. I am also good at people skills and have strong interpersonal skills.

Career Dilemma: HR vs. Healthcare Roles

I am confused about choosing my job. I am not able to secure an HR job, and even if I do, the pay scale is very low. However, in the healthcare field where I am currently working, I am getting offers for roles such as PRO and operations.

Please advise. I am desperately looking for a job change.

Try looking for HR positions in the healthcare industry, as you have experience in this field. In fact, check with companies that are offering Operations and Public Relations (PRO) roles to see if they have any openings in HR. Explain that you hold a qualification in MBA HR and are actively seeking a career change.

Demand for HR Professionals in Healthcare

There is a real demand for HR professionals from the healthcare industry. The dynamics of the healthcare business are unique, leading to challenges in managing staff and their issues. You are a perfect fit for this role.

Keep persevering, and good luck.
