My MNC company is doing business in West Bengal through Distributor. Maintaining Office, with office staff 3rd party payroll. 20 Field staffs & Managers are on payroll. Can such office run in residential apartment without registering in West Bengal Shop & Establishment. All Holiday are followed as per West Bengal Holiday. If not then what need to do?

Ofcourse Not. Its absolutely illegal to run a business without registering. Please visit a CA and have the company registered and he will guide you on all legal aspects.

Dear Mr. Mitra,
Thanks for guiding us, Please furnish what could be the legal penalty if it has not followed since company is Incorporated i.e. from 2001 till date.
