If a company has a model standing, is it compulsory to have a certified standing order? Can it function without a certified standing order?

Overall, the text has been corrected for spelling and grammar errors. Additionally, proper paragraph formatting has been applied with a single line break between the two paragraphs. The meaning and tone of the original message have been preserved.

The company must have a certified standing order. My presumption is that the Industrial Employment Standing Orders Act is applicable to your company.

If there is no STANDING ORDER, then is there any penalty imposed on employers?

Dear Nim.J,

If the model standing orders are applicable to your company with a workforce exceeding 50 employees, it is not mandatory to have certified standing orders. Only if you wish to make specific provisions, include additional misconduct clauses, or introduce other such clauses, then you must amend the standing orders and have them certified through the proper legal process.

Please let me know if you need further clarification on this matter.

Thank you.
